It has been a fun year learning and designing for the web, - a few moments of frustration and
ie 6 tears, it's coding after all. - A a very big thank you to Prisca (see links), for her teaching skills & encouragement.
Within the concept of animation, from the very first inspirational sketches to final project, it's vital to understand the principle of classical traditional animation techniques. Animation is giving life to a character or object, implementing the rules of reality, shadow and light, making your animation believable within a universe of gravity.
Character animation
In my career as a classical trained traditional animator, I've been
fortunate to work on feature length animated productions
as well as tv productions, learning the industry from within.
It's been even more so a challenge to learn new skills in digital
format and 3d. In my gallery section you can see some of my recent work - character modeling in
maya and project stills from my final project at Tower Hamlet's college course, digital animation - year 05/06. Software used is Maya, Flash, After effects, illustrator and photoshop.
With thanks to all the tutors, - Prisca, Nick, Roger and Elroy.
